The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) is currently seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant II for its Florida facility. The selected candidate will perform administrative duties such as data entry; prepare correspondence, account reconciliation; travel arrangements; answer telephones; sort and distribute mail; maintaining databases, ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned. Please note that this position is temporary and is expected to start approximately at the end of May 2018 and end approximately at the end of September 2018.

With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to sit and type at a computer terminal for up to 8 hours per day with appropriate breaks and perform tasks that require fine dexterity and repetitive motions using the arms, hands, wrists and fingers. |Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
Requires a minimum of 2 years related experience. Requires excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to work independently. Must be detail-oriented and flexible. Requires experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as the ability to learn other software programs specific to department. Requires professional level typing/editing skills.
