The California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr) is a not-for-profit research institute located in La Jolla, California. Calibr is focused on innovative early-stage translational research in the areas of regenerative medicine, cancer biology, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, immunology and infectious disease.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop software to meet specific requirements
* Create, maintain, debug, optimize, and document any projects as assigned
* Learn systems or frameworks necessary in order to complete required tasks
* Work productively with colleagues across the Institute
* Other tasks as may be assigned

Basic Qualifications:

* Enrolled in a computer science program of studies
* Requires 20-25 hours per week, block scheduling (please include class schedule) during school year
* Strong interest in technology and an aptitude for computers and devices a must.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Knowledge of the following development assets is a plus: C#, JavaScript, C++, HTML, SQL,Git, GitHub, Visual Studio, Angular 2+
* Expertise in Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
