Lab studies the proteins of viruses like Ebola, Marburg and Lassa, using structural biology and cellular analysis to understand how the very few proteins encoded by these viruses achieve a tremendous array of functions throughout the virus life cycle. Although the lab is primarily a structural biology lab, we direct a five-continent collaboration of academic, industrial and government scientists and clinicians.
