Postdoctoral positions in Medicinal Chemistry are available in the Kamenecka group in The Department of Molecular Medicine at the Scripps Research Institute, Florida campus (for more information please see: https://www.scripps.edu/research/faculty/kamenecka).
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of publishing in high impact journals and extensive experience in organic synthesis and/or medicinal chemistry, and can work successfully as a member of a team. These full-time lab positions are

This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Must possess a doctoral degree. A pending doctoral degree may be considered with approval of the Principal Investigator.
Extensive Ph.D. graduate work in multi-step organic synthesis is required, with good laboratory skills and familiarity with modern synthetic techniques and instrumentation (HPLC-MS, HPLC, NMR, chromatography). Strong candidates may also have knowledge and experience in heterocyclic and medicinal chemistry and/or structure-based drug design. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment are also required.
