|Position Summary:|| |
The Lotz lab in the Department of Molecular Medicine has an opening for a Postdoctoral Associate to join a newly funded translational research program in spine biology and disease. We are seeking a highly talented and motivated individual with strong background and technical expertise in cell biology and animal models of musculoskeletal research. The selected candidate will lead in vitro and in vivo studies to identify and validate molecular targets that are essential for intervertebral disc homeostasis or that contribute to spine pathology. Promising targets will be used in drug screening assays and/or gene therapy approaches. The candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary and dynamic group with extensive experience with preclinical models for proof of concept validation of drug targets and drug candidates.
