|Position Summary:|| |
Postdoctoral research positions in the field of chemical biology are available in Dr. Christopher Parker’s laboratory, within the Department of Chemistry.
Our goal is to develop and apply chemistry-enabled strategies to investigate human biology and disease pathology. Areas of study related to this position include chemical biology, molecular/cellular biology, mass spectrometry (proteomics and metabolomics), and biochemistry.
Our research integrates chemical synthesis with mass spectrometry and cell/molecular biology to (1) help illuminate mechanisms that form the basis of disease, such as cancer, and (2) to study how small molecules might regulate, or be used to regulate, complex biological processes, such as immune responses and metabolism.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Must possess a doctoral degree. A pending doctoral degree may be considered with approval of the Principal Investigator.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
Ph.D. in chemistry, molecular or cellular biology or related field is required.
