Position Title Product Manager
Position Summary:

The Product Manager will work with the All of Us Research Program at Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI). All of Us is a landmark NIH research initiative that aims to engage one million US participants from diverse social, racial/ethnic, and economic backgrounds in an effort to gain better insights into the biological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health.

The Product Manager is responsible for implementing requirements and developing digital solutions to drive the success of SRTI’s research goals. The PM synthesizes scientific targets and authentic consumer need states to deliver products that promote user engagement and achieve our research goals. They partner closely with internal and external development teams to help oversee implementation details and ensure reasonable delivery timelines. The Product Manager analyzes qualitative & quantitative data to achieve a deep understanding of user behavior and opportunities for optimization. As part of our Product organization, the PM bridges the technical, design, and research worlds in order to ship software that will help enable the next generation of groundbreaking clinical advances.


* Launch delightful and effective digital products on scope and on budget.
* Identify opportunities and help define product vision and strategy.
* Support Product decisions with data-driven insights and analysis.
* Write clear user stories and thrive in an Agile development environment.
* Embrace and advocate for user-centered design principles.
* Collaborate with distributed stakeholders including User Experience, Marketing, and Data Science teams.
* Work closely with Engineering groups to understand technical tradeoffs and create reasonable development schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5+ years’ experience in software product management; or
* Master’s degree in applicable field with 3+ years’ experience in software product management.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment.
* Ability to multitask within a dynamic work environment.
* Ability to work independently and manage time/projects efficiently.
* Proven product management success in Agile development environment.
* Experience in developing digital products to aid in recruitment of research subjects highly desirable.
