Position Title Project Coordinator
Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator will work with the Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI) team at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI). SRTI leads several initiatives that seek to gain better insights into the biologicial, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of an Associate Director or Director. This role will provide support for clinical and/or translational research daily operations for mutli-site studies to ensure successful implementation of and adherence to the clinical research protocols and milestones regarding planning, administration, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting. She/He will develop and foster strong working relationships with partner organizations and researchers nationwide.

Position Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Assist with multiple innovative clinical research studies at one time
* Interface with multidisciplinary team to design effective participant-centered study workflow(s) and corresponding data collection pipline(s) in order to execute site-less clinical trials
* Lead the development of study-related materials, including informed consent documents, study instructions/training materials and trial master files
* Provide education/training on research protocols for new study team members, vendors and partner organizations
* Organize, document, and track project process in tables, and spreadsheets; present findings and updates to team members and collaborators
* Work with study teams to implement and evaluate participant recruitment and user engagement startegies
* Follow established guidelines for the research protocols based on IRB regulations
* Works independently and collaboratively with SRTI team, all scientific, administrative, and external institutes
* Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained.
* 2+ Years of experience in a healthcare and/or healthcare research setting running clinical and/or translational studies

Preferred Qualifications:

* Excellent working knowledge of HIPAA regulations, ICH, and GCP Guidelines.
* CCRC certification preferred
* Experience leading and/or facilitating work teams
* High level of integrity in dealing with sensitive information
* Ability to work independently
* Recognize priorities, works well under pressure to meet deadlines
* Proven computer skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
* Demonstrated analytical, organizational and record keeping ability
* Exercise good judgment, flexibility, discretion and honesty
