Position Title Project Manager
Position Summary:

The Project Manager will work with the All of Us Research Program at Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI). All of Us is a landmark NIH research program that aims to engage one million US participants from diverse social, racial/ethnic, and economic backgrounds in an effort to gain better insights into the biological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health. The Project Manager will develop and foster strong working relationships with current and new partner organizations and researchers to inspire program improvement in participant recruitment, enrollment and retention. The Project Manager will work closely with community leaders across the country to ensure that the All of Us Research Program is accessible to their communities.

The Project Manager will work closely with community leaders across the country to ensure that the All of Us Research Program is accessible to their communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* In collaboration with the Associate Director of Community Engagement, optimize scalable engagement in collaboration with TPC partners including National Blood Banks, Montage Marketing, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and others.
* Manage communication efforts with the National Direct Volunteer Virtual Advisory Team. Coordinate the planning and agendas for quarterly meetings. Assist in preparing reports from advisory team meetings to distribute to the NIH.
* Onboard and manage relationships with interested unfunded community-based organizations.
* In collaboration with the National Blood Banks and other consortium partners, research and identify locations to host mobile enrollment events. Assist in the development of a standard operating procedure for successful mobile enrollment events.
* Identify and assist in developing a plan to leverage Blue Cross Blue Shield community programs to increase their involvement and presence at AoURP related events and activities.
* Coordinate and develop a variety of regional task forces in specific markets in which a regular cadence of meetings with clear plans of action are developed to better inform, engage, educate and enroll participants.
* Research and identify additional community engagement opportunities with national organizations that have large-scale reach to maximize recruitment, engagement enrollment and retention efforts for the All of Us Research Program.
* Collaborate with members of the Scripps Research Translational Institute team and others in the consortium to pursue a smooth participant experience with integrated participant-facing content throughout.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
DECISION MAKING
Identify best method for initial and long-term engagement of the Direct Volunteer cohort.
COMMUNICATION
Internal and external interactions range from exchanging information to negotiating and/or persuading influential community based groups with the goal of gaining support, coordination and/or compliance with programs. Contacts include all levels of administrative and scientific staff.
SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY
Partners with department director, associate director and staff to assess impact of existing and proposed engagement efforts. Annual goals are assigned, and Project Manager demonstrates autonomy to achieve goals through program development, implementation and evaluation.

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS
This role is not expected to supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:

* * Bachelors degree in Business, Health Science, or equivalent.
* Project Management expertise.
* 3+ years of experience running large projects.
* Experience with community based and/or health disparities research, and research study outreach and engagement.
* Outstanding cultural competency
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with community leaders.
* Excellent verbal and written skills, including strategic thinking and planning skills.
* Ability to work effectively with and present to senior level stakeholders.
* Ability work well in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

* * PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
* Ability to perform quantitative and statistical analysis of basic results.
* Experience in healthcare and/or healthcare research institute.
* Experience with conducting literature searches and writing manuscripts.
* Experience working on federally-funded NIH grants.
