Position Title Project Manager
Position Summary:

The Project Manager will work with the All of Us Research Program (AoURP) Team at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI). The AoURP is a landmark NIH research program that aims to engage one million US participants from diverse social, racial/ethnic, and economic backgrounds in an effort to gain better insights into the biological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of a large nationwide research program including data management and comprehensive coordination of research deliverables and costs.

Position Description

The Project Manager will work with the All of Us Research Program (AoURP) Team at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI). The AoURP is a landmark NIH research program that aims to engage one million US participants from diverse social, racial/ethnic, and economic backgrounds in an effort to gain better insights into the biological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of a large nationwide research program including data management and comprehensive coordination of research deliverables and costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Support team in tracking core program deliverables and budget alignment including providing pricing analysis, and financial modeling for various aspects of the research program
* Manage and oversee participant reimbursement and study visit process for multi-site project including maintaining a detailed tracking mechanism and monitoring billing to insure adequacy of funds and compliance with institutional and federal regulations
* Perform data entry and validation to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance of the study visit and generate reports as needed
* Assist Regulatory Team with preparation of IRB documents
* Provide support and expertise in actively managing partner relationships and ensuring adherence to federal regulations and sponsored research terms
* Manage contract relationships and provide quality assurance on technical delivery, budget management, and compliance with sponsor terms and conditions
* Assist with annual and quarterly reporting requirements as required by sponsoring agency
* Work directly with Financial Manager on budget tasks such as of expenditure tracking and account reconciliation as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS
This role is not expected to supervise others.

This position works in an office and lab environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, health science or equivalent
* Minimum of 4 years experience in research and/or clinical administration
* Experience in running scientific projects and/or large-scale collaborations
* Ability to work effectively with and present to senior level stakeholders
* Knowledge of Federal regulations applicable to grants
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
* Excellent verbal and written skills, including strategic thinking and planning skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Project Management expertise
* 3+ years of experience running large projects
* Experience working on federally-funded NIH grants
