Position Title Quality Control/Quality Assurance Project Manager
Position Summary:

The Quality Control/Quality Assurance Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI) hub grant-related submissions to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), enhance CTSA-hub evaluation programs, and educate hub personnel, investigators, and trainees about NCATS policies and procedures.

Position Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Streamline NCATS hub submissions by serving as the point-of-contact by coordinating and reviewing grant materials across multiple departments and research projects, such as Prior Approval Requests and eRA Human Subjects System submissions.
* Maintain consistency across programs and unify guidance offered to hub personnel.
* Coordinate with coummunications and education teams across CTSA hubs to develop and disseminiate training information; interact directly with hub faculty and provide training to others at the institute.
* Active participation in all CTSA network QA/QC groups and forums and attend quarterly virtual meetings.
* Drive innovaton in our local processes and disseminate learnings from barriers and successes across the CTSA network.
* Contribute to project management and apply analytic skills to hub evaluation activities.

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS
* This role is not expected to supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years administrative experience with NIH/governmental processes including project submission.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of human subjects research forms and submission requirements.
