|Position Summary:|| |
The Bohn Laboratory of Scripps Research on the Jupiter, Florida campus is seeking a Research Technician. The successful candidate will have experience in performing cell-based signaling assays in high content format (384 well plates), experience in GPCR signaling assays (cAMP, G protein coupling, etc.), and cell culturing expertise. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a proven record of maintaining records for an extensive chemical library. Molecular biology skills and experience in assay development are desired.
Under general supervision, independently and in collaboration with others, perform research for projects; may provide interpretation and initial analysis of results; may investigate, troubleshoot and modify methods and procedures; may assist in designing experiments; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
Florida and Palm Beach County residents are preferred.
