|Position Summary:|| |
Seeking an experienced Research Assistant in The Torbett Group (www.scripps.edu/torbett/ and http://hive.scripps.edu). This day to day basis job duties and responsibilities of this position will include Flow cytometry analysis of hematopoietic cells, protein isolation and Western blot analysis, lentiviral vector production, cloning, PCR, human hematopoietic cell isolation from human blood and humanized mouse tissues, stock and order the lab supplies, maintain laboratory instrumentation, manage the lab database and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.
|Compensation:||$19.58- 24.45 per hour budgeted hiring range|
