|Position Summary:|| |
This position supports protein production pipeline activities including DNA maxi preparation, maintenance of cell lines, cell supernatant harvesting, protein concentration and inventory, high-throughput enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from serum, cell culture, and purified protein, and other related duties, tasks and responsibilities required for protein production and purification from E. coli and mammalian cells. Managing lab equipment and consumables as required or assigned. Will work with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedule to meet goals, coordinate and discuss with supervisor daily/weekly work plan. Perform a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
Prior hands-on working experience with high-throughput DNA preparation, ELISA, and protein production preferred. This position requires multiple periods of intense concentration. Familiarity with BSL-2 protocols and best-practices as well as proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities is a plus.
|Compensation:||$20.07-$25.06 per hour budgeted hiring range.|
