|Position Summary:|| |
Lab is involved in studies related to the immunological and virological aspects of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Will work general supervision, independently and in collaboration with others, perform research for projects involving molecular biology, immunology and biophysical techniques. Will involve techniques such as gene cloning, PCR, site directed mutagenesis, protein expression, purification and characterization, bacterial and mammalian cell culture, ELISA, HIV virus titration, infectivity assays and PBMC isolation. Will also perform data collection, analysis and interpretation of initial results and operate specialized equipment such as Octet BLI upon training, troubleshoot problems and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.
|Compensation:||$20.07-$25.06 per hour budgeted hiring range.|
