|Position Summary:|| |
This position involves performing high-throughput antibody-based assays, specifically enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), from serum, cell culture, and purified protein. Performance of other related duties, tasks and responsibilities such as protein production and purification from E. coli and mammalian cells as well as managing lab equipment and consumables, coordinate and discuss with supervisor daily/weekly work plan, perform a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence, and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

This position works in a laboratory environment and requires the ability to work in a high-throughput manner managing high numbers of samples. Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment. Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck. Moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.

|Compensation:||$19.58- 24.45 per hour budgeted hiring range|
