|Position Summary:|| |
The Miller Lab is hiring a Research Technician in the Departments of Molecular Medicine and Neuroscience to contribute to our studies on the mechanisms of memory storage at Scripps Research in the beach town of Jupiter, Florida. Projects will focus on molecular, cellular and circuit-based mechanisms relevant to the development of new medications for PTSD and addiction. Successful candidates will have strong skills in the area of cellular/molecular biology and/or behavior. This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
Florida & Palm Beach County residents are preferred.
