|Position Summary:|| |
A Research technician position is available immediately in the Maximov Laboratory at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla. A successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the colony of mutant mice and should therefore be comfortable working with laboratory animals. Specific tasks will include colony maintenance, collection of tissue samples for genotyping and experimental use, and assisting other laboratory members with imaging and behavioral tests.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
Although prior experience with mice is not required, experienced candidates will be given preference.
|Compensation:||Budgeted Hourly Rate $18.13-$22.19|
