|Position Summary:|| |
An enthusiastic and motivated research technician is sought for a lab that is conducting scientific research at the intersection of neuroscience and physiology. The job involves conducting a variety of scientific tasks including molecular genetics and biochemical methodologies, C. elegans strain management, lab and database management, ordering supplies, overseeing the preparation of reagents (buffers and media), molecular cloning, generation of transgenic C. elegans. Will be interacting with a dynamic group of highly engaged postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and undergraduates.
Perform a variety of routine scientific tasks; may prepare test specimens; set up and operate standard lab equipment of moderate complexity; record data providing basic analyses and interpretations; may perform a limited number of non-repetitive procedures; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
|Compensation:||Budgeted Salary Range $17.69-$21.65|
