|Position Summary:|| |
This position is in the NGS and Microarray Core Facility. The candidate will work under supervision to perform next generation sequencing library prep on RNA and DNA samples. Additional activities will include gel electrophoresis, ddPCR and PCR experiments. Keep careful records of experimental details and results. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to learn new methods quickly.
Perform a variety of routine scientific tasks; may prepare test specimens; set up and operate standard lab equipment of moderate complexity; record data providing basic analyses and interpretations; may perform a limited number of non-repetitive procedures; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
|Compensation:||Budgeted Hourly Rate $17.69-$21.65|
