|Position Summary:|| |
Research technician position is available for a highly motivated individual to join a team of scientists whose projects focus on human antibodies and the development of vaccines to highly variable viruses. Will function as an integral team member providing technical support to multiple scientists in the laboratory. Will participate in the execution and interpretation of experiments related to projects focused on the characterization of neutralizing antibodies and antibody responses, and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Specifically, previous experience with PCR, subcloning, tissue culture, cell-based assays, or flow cytometry is preferable. Must be willing to be trained and to work in a Bio-Safety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory handling live human and primate pathogens such as HIV, SIV, SHIV.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in cell biology or a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

At least 1 year commitment preferred.
|Compensation:||Budgeted Hourly Rate $17.69-$21.65|
