The Antibody Core Facility is currently seeking a highly motivated technician to join our team.
This position involves all aspects of monoclonal and polyclonal antibody production: immunization of small animals, mammalian cell culture, antibody expression, antibody purification, ELISA. Job duties also include buffer preparation, equipment maintenance, restocking supplies and other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be self-motivated and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure in completing multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to keep careful records of experimental details and results.

Basic knowledge of hybridomas and mammalian cell culture, protein purification, mouse immunization and/or ELISA assays
|Compensation:||Budgeted Hourly Rate $17.69-$21.65|
