|Position Summary:|| |
The candidate will work with the PI and postdoc to develop and test genome editing strategies and methods in primary human and mouse B cells. The candidate will be involved in purification of B cells from human blood/mouse spleen, and subsequent culture, engineering and analysis by FACS and RT-PCR with NGS. The candidate may also be involved in adoptive cell transfer and immunization experiments in mice as well as subsequent analysis of immune responses using FACS, antibody binding assays (ELISA/SPR), and pseudovirus neutralization assays.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience. Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
|Preferred Qualifications:|| |
The candidate should be familiar with primary cell culture technique, and should be comfortable working with a mouse model system. Previous experience with cloning, PCR and NGS is an asset. The candidate should have excellent record keeping, organization, and communication skills and be willing to learn a diversity of techniques commonly used in the study of immunology and genome engineering.
|Compensation:||Budgeted Hourly Rate $17.69-$21.65|
