Position Summary:

Design, plan, conduct and either supervise or independently perform extremely complex , novel or high-profile research projects that require an expert-level knowledge of scientific principles and concepts, scientific creativity and mastery of specialized and/or extremely complex lab techniques and analyses; may modify existing or develop new or improved lab techniques and evaluation criteria; ensure thorough data analysis and provide complex interpretations of results; operate sophisticated scientific lab equipment; may operate independently, manage lab operations and/or supervise other lab/research personnel; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires a minimum of 12 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, a minimum of 9+ years experience required. Candidates possessing a Doctoral degree, (Ph.D./M.D.), a minimum of 2+ years experience required.
