This position may be assigned in an administrative support department or in a research laboratory. Interns receive closely supervised training and are able to develop professional skills. Duties vary based on assigned administrative department or research lab.
|Additional Information:|| |
Summer Intern will be responsible for DNA extraction and PCR of multiple different samples. Also responsible for stocking items in the lab, and cleaning and autoclaving glassware.

This position may work in other than a typical office environment which may include offices, laboratories, and vivariums. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Summer interns can be employed with TSRI for a maximum of 90 calendar days over the summer months. -All Summer Intern requisitions MUST have an end date designated. -The Summer Intern Memo of Understanding must be signed by the students before they can come on board. Upon the completion of the 90-day internship, the individual MUST be termed and leave TSRI. The intern CANNOT stay on in another title and/or extend their stay with the Institute.
