|Department Name:||Molecular Medicine - CA|
|Position Type:||Full Time|
|Position Title||UX/UI Designer|
|Position Summary:|| |
The All of Us Research Program is the most ambitious research program in U.S. history. Announced by the National Institutes of Health in 2015 as part of the Precision Medicine Initiative, it aims to recruit one million research participants over the course of ten years. A primary goal of the All of Us Research Program is to engage historically underrepresented research participants. This will be the largest, longest, most diverse and complete research initiative in history.
The UX/UI Designer will join the Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI) team, to help design the core app experience on which the All of Us Research Program’s one million research participants from diverse socioeconomic and racial/ethnic backgrounds will engage on a daily basis. A core UX/UI feature of the product will involve video-based storytelling, education and community building.
The UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating efficient and delightful user interfaces for the digital solutions that drive the success of SRTI’s research goals. The specialist will use data, testing, and feedback to develop wireframes and interactive prototypes. She/he should excel at collaborating with stakeholders, understanding our users, and rapidly iterating toward low-friction, optimal solutions. The UX/UI Designer should have a keen eye, refined aesthetic, and be able to translate their own wireframes into beautifully executed Photoshop and Sketch designs. She/he will work closely with product managers and development teams to ensure a final product with intuitive interfaces that delight our users and achieve our research goals.
The UX/UI Designer will work on the La Jolla, CA campus at Scripps Research; this is not a remote position.
